What does drive-in appliance repair mean?

This means by dropping your appliance in to be serviced there is no call out charge and no assessment charge.  This is a much cheaper way for you to get these repaired.

My product was damaged when I got it delivered, what do I do?

In the unlikely event you should receive damaged goods, please contact our Store at info@mdh.ie with your order number and a brief note of the problem. Alternatively, you can call our shop within 48 hours of receipt of delivery.

 

What is the delivery/fitting fee?

  1. All appliances cost €25.00 to deliver in Dublin Wexford .Wicklow  plus €5.00 for additional items to the same address
  2. All our home deliveries include free removal of your old appliance provided the appliance is:               

    a.       Defrosted and empty of food

    b.      Free of all fixtures and fittings

    c.      Detached from the mains and water supply

                 d.        We can arrange next day delivery                                                                                                       

Will you fit our new appliance? Yes

Included in our price: we will disconnect your old appliance and fit your new one.  This saves you the time and money involved in getting an electrician in to do both jobs.  (See fitting chart below)

Can I return a product?

If a product is defective in any way, please return it and we will either deliver a new one to you, or refund you the cost of the product. When you purchase online you have a statutory right to return goods (other than perishable or customised) up to 7 days after receiving your order: this is the cooling off period. We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost). Any breakages/damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Please include your reference number.

 

Is all the information I give confidential?

Yes. All information given to Discount Appliances and their partners. We will not sell your information to anyone else and all information is encrypted on our secure server to prevent any unauthorised persons gaining access.

You will pay significantly less than in High St Stores and will benefit from the excellent service we provide.  As all of our products are graded, end of line or liquidation stock this means that we pass on substantial savings on to you our customer.  You can save up to 70% on white goods and 50% off all Grade A stock and 80% on untested pallets

We offer a range of Graded washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, microwaves, cookers, hobs, tv’s, dryers, washer dryers and many other items from leading manufactures including Hotpoint, Zanussi, Bosch, Powerpoint and many more.
  

 

How about installation of cookers & hobs?

We can send out our electrician when requested for the installation of electric cookers and hobs. see our fitting chart for this info .

 

Is it good value?

Yes. All of our products offer savings of up to 70% on High St prices. Please see examples of the savings on our products list.

 

How can I pay for my appliance?

We accept all forms of payment including cash. credit cards, laser cards, debit cards and cheques along with a cheque guarantee card.

 

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any time as long as it has not been dispatched from our warehouse.

 

What if the appliance I want is not in stock?

If the appliance is not in stock we will endeavour to source it for you, we have numerous contacts with wholesalers across the country for new appliances and offer it to you at a discounted rate.

 

Is it really 70% of the original recommended retail price?

Yes, we offer up to 70% off the RRP on our Kitchen Appliances.  We are proud to say that we stock excellent quality branded products.

How do you offer such low prices ?

As we are a new store we can offer you a better deal as you are buying directfrom us . We don’t have the same over heads as other stores or  high rent . All of these costs are built into the price on every item on sale in the Beds store. The savings we make we pass directly on to you.

Can I track the progress of my order?

If you want to know the progress of your order please give us a call or drop us an email. If there are any issues we will give you a call.

Are my credit/ debit details secure with your online payments?

Yes. Our sales are secured by SSL. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide security for communications over networks such as the Internet.  Also we don’t store your credit/ debit card details on our system at any stage. 

Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit and debit cards. Please contact us for alternative payment methods. Cash on delivery is possible in certain circumstances.

Are there any hidden costs or fees?

No. discount beds  the price you see on our website is the price you pay. VAT is included in the prices, there are no credit card fees, processing fees, administration fees is included in the price. 

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

Yes, all our prices include VAT.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If you wish to change or cancel an order contact our Customer Service department via our contact page. You have the right to cancel up to the day before delivery.  If after the goods have been delivered they have to be returned, Please refer to our returns policy

Refunds for cancellations will be credited to the card used for the original payment and usually happens within 24hrs of cancellation, but can take up to 3 days.


Do you have a showroom?

Yes we do have a showroom. in our shop in dublin 

Can you send me a brochure?

Our website is our brochure. In order to keep our costs and prices down we do not distribute brochures. Instead we’re always updating our website to add new products and the best prices. 

What is your returns policy?

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your product let us know. 

If your items are found faulty or not as described on our website on delivery please inform the us 

If you are unsure about a purchase or change your mind please let our delivery personnel know on delivery. The items need to be in their original packaging. You have 7 days from delivery date to notify us if you want to return your product, however there will be a return charge deducted from your refund. The return charge is simply a pick up charge. 

discount furniture will not accept the products back if they have been used and are not in their original packaging.

Refunds for return items will be credited to the card used for the original payment.  Once the goods have been returned to the warehouse and they have been inspected, a refund usually happens within 24hrs, but can take up to 3 days.
