Pricing Information
For MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture products the retail price shown in the parcel listings will be the price the product would have been sold for .The retail price does not relate to promotional prices we may have charged, or any clearance pricing we have actioned, in either printed or promotional flyers or leaflets or online. This pricing information is provided as guidance only.
No statement made by any person as to the quality or condition of any merchandise on offer is to be relied upon for the purpose of making an offer to purchase.
All merchandise is sold on “not seen" basis. If you do wish to inspect the merchandise offered for sale this may be possible in certain circumstances. In these instances you must contact the MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture before making any offer. Where feasible they will endeavour to accommodate your request.
Payment
Payment in full is required to clear before any merchandise can be removed from MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture warehouse. Payment should be made by:
(a) Bank Credit Transfer - Please be advised payment by cheque is not accepted.
All displayed prices exclude VAT and delivery charges (unless expressly stated otherwise).
We require payment to be completed before removing any produce We reserve the right to re-sell if payment is not received within this timescale.
Returns Policy
Graded and Reconditioned Appliances: Each appliance sold from MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture has a warranty specific to that appliance. All items are sold as seen, however, if you have an issue within your warranty we will arrange for a repair of the appliance in question. If a repair is not possible then it will be replaced with an appliance of equal value. No returns will be accepted and no credit will be allowed for previously undiscovered defects or discrepancies in description. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have to the extent that such rights are not excluded or limited under these terms and conditions.
New appliances: Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase providing that, where applicable the item is in its original packaging with all its component parts and that it has not been used. Warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
New Furniture: Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase providing that, where applicable the item is in its original packaging with all its component parts and that it has not been used. Warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
Liability and Indemnity
Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to Section 8.1 above, MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information . but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture, will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions for any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or loss of goodwill or reputation; or consequential, special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, subject to Murphy’s Discount House aggregate liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same cause.
MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture and you acknowledge and agree that unless expressly included in these terms and conditions the requirements of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 are excluded to the fullest extent permissible by law.
We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold us harmless immediately upon demand from and against all actions, liability, claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) we incur arising directly or indirectly as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions.
Miscellaneous Provisions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the contract between us shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ireland. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.
Unless otherwise stated, we have selected our products on the basis that they will be used for domestic use only. If you are planning to use them for business purposes, please make sure that you are covered by appropriate insurance.
MDH Discount Appliances & Furniture shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity or enforceability of the other sections of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.

We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price for the products on the Website is wrong.
DELIVERY : We will endeavour to deliver the products to you within 3-5 working days of your account order within the island of Ireland, where this is practical. However, products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside of our control. Any dates specified for delivery are therefore approximate only. If delivery is delayed for more than 21 days, you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the products. In these circumstances, we will refund any money paid by you for those products and any delivery monies you have been charged. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or do not supply those products. At the time of delivery you will be required to validly sign-off on the delivery of the products, after which time the products become your sole responsibility.
CLAIMS: You have a statutory right to a 7 day cooling-off period when purchasing online. If a product is defective in any way, please return it with a covering letter and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product.
